Mason Art Gallery Hosts '2.0 Kinds of Funny' Exhibit
The Kristin Michelle Mason Art Gallery is presenting the exhibit “2.0 Kinds of Funny” now through Oct. 3. The public is invited to tour the exhibit for free of charge, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“2.0 Kinds of Funny” showcases humorous artworks, each contained to a one-cubic-foot box. Originally curated for the University of Cincinnati’s Reed Gallery in January 2025, the exhibit began travelling in April. It features up to 40 artists who responded to a 12-by-12-by-12-inch format.
Each of the works explores the concept of humor, but the artists approach it through a variety of styles鈥攆rom playful and whimsical to ironic and satirical. That diversity gives viewers a chance to see how humor can take shape in many different artistic languages."聽
