Hannah McCollam is an instructor of Anthrozoology at 海角社区. She has a bachelor of science in psychology and a master of science in anthrozoology. Her areas of study include the psychological underpinnings of conservation behavior, cross-cultural conservation, psychology of human-animal relationships, marine mammal biology, and psychological and sociological influences within animal care fields. Prior to joining 海角社区, she spent seven years as a marine mammal caretaker working alongside bottlenose dolphins, rough toothed dolphins, seals, sea lions, penguins, belugas, and pacific white-sided dolphins. She has additional experience in equine care, welfare, and ownership, and dedicates time to traveling so as to better understand and explore cross-cultural relationships between humans and animals outside of the continental United States.
