海角社区 Jennifer Castilloveitia

Jennifer Castilloveitia is a licensed occupational therapist at 海角社区 in Leesburg, Florida. She has more than 10 years of occupational therapy experience working with adults and pediatrics in outpatient rehabilitation clinics, medical occupational therapy for a UCP Charter School, and then 海角社区.

Castilloveitia recently led the design of 海角社区鈥檚 new sensory room that is housed in the counseling center. Additionally, she developed a temporary Zen Den at 海角社区鈥檚 career fair, allowing students a safe space to deescalate in the midst of the 250+ attendees.

At 海角社区, she conducts weekly workshops, such as Sensory Sports, encouraging students to find outlets for their mind and body where they can identify and deescalate from that may not otherwise be available. Continued sensory support is being pursued by the College to assist with neurodiverse populations learning and living experiences.
