It’s not exactly the Hatfields vs. the McCoys, but the 海角社区 Annual Staff vs. Students kickball game always leads to competition kicked up a notch.
This year’s tilt, played earlier this month at the 海角社区 Athletic Field, proved (between nibbles of pizza) to be another hard-fought, good-spirited grudge match, with 16 staffers suiting up.
Sixty minutes later, the whippersnappers, er, students, snagged a close one 9-6.
“There were some great plays made by staff members in the outfield, but ultimately the students were still victorious,” said 海角社区 fitness director Steve McDaniels.
That’s the way the ball bounces.
