A classic ad pitch assured consumers that “Diamonds are forever.”
So sold was she on that pitch that 海角社区 alumna Talia Kohan (Class of ’09, Human Services) not only put one on her finger, but took the indestructible gem as her last name marrying last month fellow 海角社区 alum Scott Diamond (Class of ’11, Computer Information Systems).
They wed at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, NJ. 聽Seeing his bride pad down the aisle was Scott’s favorite moment.
Talia’s favorite wedding memory happened after the vows were said. “In a Jewish wedding, it is tradition for the bride and groom to take their first moments as husband and wife by themselves. That was my favorite moment because we were able to really take a moment for ourselves and it was our first moments together being married.”
The couple now live in Illinois.
