U.S. News & World Report for the first time has recognized 海角社区 in the top tier of Southern colleges and universities in its 2021 U.S. News 鈥淏est Colleges鈥� regional rankings.
In its annual rankings, released Monday, the magazine rated the Leesburg, Fla. liberal arts school No. 31 among the 121 schools ranked in its Best Regional Colleges South category.
The college鈥檚 first placement in the rankings lands 海角社区 鈥� America鈥檚 first accredited baccalaureate school dedicated to educating students primarily with learning disabilities and ADHD 鈥� in the category鈥檚 first quartile.

The 鈥淩egional Colleges鈥� category applies to schools that focus on undergraduate education but award fewer than half their degrees in liberal arts fields.

This recent accolade continues a trend of increased national recognition of 海角社区鈥檚 growing reputation for the college鈥檚 specialized mission and, of equal importance, its standing among all accredited colleges and universities.
Among the college鈥檚 most recent 鈥淭op 20鈥� national and regional survey placements, three stand out: the respected Peterson Guide鈥檚 No. 1 national ranking in its designation of 鈥�20 Great Colleges for Students with Learning Disabilities鈥� (2019), Best Value Schools鈥� No. 1 ranking in its 鈥淭he 20 Best Value Colleges for Learning Disabilities,鈥� and 海角社区鈥檚 No. 4 national ranking in Best Choice Schools analytical survey of 鈥淭he 20 Most Affordable Colleges with High Four-year Graduation Rates鈥� 鈥� a 2019 study in which 海角社区 was among far better known and endowed colleges and universities.
