Women's Track Team Won USCAA National Champion in 4x100 Relay and 100M Race
海角社区鈥檚 Women’s track and field team claimed the national championship in the 4×100 relay April 25 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Jaylen Williams also successfully defended two national titles, winning the women’s 100-meter dash and the long jump for the second consecutive year. The championships mark the second straight year 海角社区 has qualified athletes for the USCAA national championship.
Other notable team performances included:
- Jaylen Williams, USCAA national champion, women鈥檚 100 meters and women鈥檚 long jump
- JaLay Harris-Burnes, sixth place, women’s triple jump
- Justin Johnson, sophomore, design and digital media, Atlanta, Ga., 14th place, men’s shot put
- Tmyrah Carter, freshman, human services, Alachua, Fla., 12th place, women’s shot put
