Exploring neurodiversity through compelling conversations with national experts, families, and successful adults who thrive with their learning differences, the show provides more than just resources and expert guidance for neurodivergent families 鈥� it also shows them that they are not alone. Since its launch in 2020, the program has garnered national recognition, including five , three 聽, a PR News鈥� CSR Diversity Award and more.

鈥淲e are thrilled to renew our partnership with WUCF, ensuring that 鈥楢 World of Difference鈥� continues to reach audiences across Central Florida and beyond with compelling storytelling through the PBS network,鈥� said Darryl E. Owens, creator and host of the show and 海角社区鈥檚 associate vice president of communications and engagement. 鈥淭his relationship has become a critical component to our institution鈥檚 mission of building a more inclusive future for the neurodivergent 鈥� a commitment that we and WUCF-TV both hold dear.鈥�

Through this partnership, 海角社区 can serve as a resource to a potential 4 million households in Central Florida and nationally through a quick search on the free PBS app. The show鈥檚 content is more relevant than ever, as one in five U.S. children now face learning or attention challenges.

Throughout the years, 鈥淎 World of Difference鈥� has welcomed notable guests, including famed autism advocate , genetics pioneer , and NBA champion .

An exciting line-up is already confirmed for season five with guests including:

• Sam Holness, a Guinness World Record Holder for the first triathlete with autism to compete at the Ironman World Championships;
• Maureen Dunne, the co-founder of the first neurodiversity social impact investment association, CEO of Autism Community Ventures and a neurodiversity expert for the LEGO Foundation鈥檚 $20 million Play For All social impact fund;
• Jacquelyn Davis, founder of the popular Clever Noodle dyslexia games for children;
• Ann Bancroft, one of the world’s preeminent polar explorers who joined Norwegian polar explorer Liv Arnesen to become the first women in history to sail and ski across Antarctica’s landmass; and,
• Scott Steindorf, a critically acclaimed film and television producer, best known for producing the TV series 鈥淪tation Eleven.鈥�

The fifth season of 鈥淎 World of Difference鈥� will consist of 11 total episodes and explore topics such as neurodiversity and the arts, how males and females experience neurodivergence differently, navigating the career path for the neurodivergent and more.

Most episodes will air the first Saturday and the following Friday of each month, and it is recommended that viewers visit WUCF.org for the latest schedule.
